The Mental Health & Recovery Levy is ISSUE # 4 on the ballot.
The Mental Health & Recovery Levy is on all Clark County ballots.
Important This is a 1.0 mil RENEWAL levy. NO INCREASE!
The cost to the owner of a $100,000 home is $26.88 a year or just over $2 a month
Clark County levy dollars are spent only on Clark County residents
State funding for Clark County mental health services has been cut by 35%. Passage of the levy will help to sustain the valuable safety net of services Clark County relies on.
Clark County provides mental health and alcohol/drug services to approximately 8,400 people in the county
In 2000 Clark County provided mental health services to 3,355 people. In 2008 Clark County provided mental health services to 6,356 people. This is an 89% increase.
In 2000 Clark County provided alcohol/drug services to 1,194 people. In 2008 Clark County provided alcohol/drug services to 2,034 people. This is a 70% increase.
