Drop in Centers

Mission Statement

To provide a place where consumers of the mental health system can work, interact with others, learn to communicate, build strong relationships with others, and use peer support to help them along the path toward recovery.  One of the many ways that we accomplish this is by allowing an opportunity to participate in social outings within the community to help build positive social experiences.

Our belief

People who take part in our drop in centers gain more self confidence, increase their self esteem, and have a better quality of life.

Consumer Employment

Through our programs, NAMI employs seven consumers throughout Clark, Greene, and Madison Counties.  Just as important we also have six additional volunteers at our centers.  These volunteer positions provide consumers with training to someday get back into the workforce.
