The Mental Health Levy is on all Madison County ballots
Important NO INCREASE! This is a 0.5 mil renewal levy. It will not increase your taxes.
Madison County levy dollars are spent only on Madison County residents
The cost is the same $12.65 for the owner of a $100,000 home. This is just over $1 a month.
This levy will allow us to continue to support families with mental health and alcohol/drug problems
Any decrease in funding will result in a decrease in services for people with mental health and alcohol/drug problems
State of Ohio funding has been cut by 35%. Failure of the levy will result in an additional 16% cut with further reduction of services.
- Mental health and alcohol/drug services were provided to almost 1,400 Madison County residents and their families last year
- In the past 8 years, the number of people who accessed mental health services increased by 136%
- In the past 8 years, the number of people who accessed alcohol/drug services increased by 76%
- In the past 8 years, the number of children and youth who accessed mental health and alcohol/drug services increased by over 50%
Every dollar lost curtails services to Madison County residents with mental health and alcohol/drug problems
